Slipper Socks

I have been knitting some nice, thick socks for my son. I know, the colour's a bit shocking but at least it lights up the room! I'm knitting in the round with double pointed kneedles. Socks are not as difficult as I imagined and you get lots of practice because you have to knit two!

Winter warmers

Is it too early to be knitting woolly cowls and slipper socks?? well it is England...so no, it's not. I am already feeling the chill in my drafty house!
I usually use this brown chunky yarn for teddies but I was inspired to knit a cowl instead and this lovely over sized button adds a finishing touch!

Autumn Seasonal Soap

I decided to make a seasonal soap, so I raided the kitchen cupboard! I decided to make a Cinnamon and Honey Soap! This is the soap when it has just been poured into the moald...
